Alleged ...used....that the whole enterprise was deportaiton so called relocation...however, thousands died due to starvation, exhaustion, disease, exposure...and the Turkish Central Government (Colonialist/Imperial) government new...all it was an different way of killing the Armenians....thus, no one will be left to return...and law of return and registration of Armenian belongings...that after the war they will return was a farce....and in addition whole males from 12 to 60 were collected to the army and used for a short period as labor battallions and then killed by Turks....The issue is that...few survivors only were able to air their grieviences after 50 year....Turks are not admitting that the Eastern Turkey : 6 Armenians vilayets (provinces) were inhabited long before by Amenians before they came...thus this land belong to the Armenians ....And real issue is not only return of the land but also restiution for the Armenians belonging. This is a crime and robbery...that shall be solved ...either with unlikely dialog between Turks and Armenians and if not possibile through Inernational Court of Justice....

Few weeks ago there was an article in "Haystani Hanrapetutyun" on screening the "Ararat" in Turkey. Among other things it said that the violent parts were going to be cut from the original movie. I wonder if it was indeed the case.
