Guys, If anyone can get intouch with Nessuna please pass on on my address to her annagh@gmail.com and ask her to get in touch.
I LOVED her blog and read it religiously before I moved to Yerevan exactly 8 days ago and would love to get in touch with her. A couple of months ago she blogged about getting some clothes and household stuff together to send to Karabach and I have everything ready now but no one to give me pointers as to how to go about doing that, so again if anyone knows her please pass this on to her and ask her to get in touch. Thanks a lot x
PS As I don't really know many people here I'd love to take part in any diaspora get togethers if you guys know of any, I'm just trying to figue out how to get internet connection in the apartement and as soon as I do that I'll be able to keep up with everything that's going on here.
Ciao x

Anyone who knows Nessuna should write her and persuade her to relaunch the blog. The best thing to do now is to encourage her as much as possible. We can't sit back and let a unique voice in the blogsphere be muffled.

Not for me to say. Anyway, it's done and there's no going back. However, I've re-registered the name on Blogsome in case she reconsiders although I have to admit that the reason for her deleting the blog in the first place didn't seem significant enough. Of course she has that right, even if there really was no need, but anyway.

The death of Nessuna's blog even made Global Voices. Looks like everyone is surprised.

Onnik Krikorian notes the disappearance of another Armenian blog written by Nessuna, who often shone a light on issues not covered by other bloggers.

Anyway, all I can say is that it was a great disappointment and I hope she reconsiders. Such a waste and not least because all her readers are shocked. Sure, it was her blog, but the reason really didn't merit this action. The site could have at least been kept online and not been updated.

Still, as both Zarchka and Ara Manoogian have pointed out to me, the site can still be accessed through Google's cache albeit without fully working links. However, if anyone wants to grab any information off there it's possible.

But, I don't know for how long pages are kept in Google's cache. Well, I guess we'll all get over it sooner or later and move on. As I sometimes talk about blogging etiquette on this site one thing I will say is that no blogger should delete their site like this, especially when others have linked to it.

At the very least, she could have posted an announcement beforehand. Anyway, Blogsome is free and there was also no need to delete the site.

Moreover, those people who commented and discussed issues on the site effectively wasted their time, as did other such as Marcella who spent time writing material for it. Hell, I even edited one of the pieces. In retrospect I have to admit that I'm not sure why I spent time doing that now.

I also noticed that Nessuna's blog wasn't there anymore today. I am sorry that she decided to quit for whatever reason. I loved reading her blog because she had something to say and I actually somehow had the feeling she was just geting started. So I join Zarchka: Nessuna, please come back! You have fans out there, girl!
