Well today’s event to launch the final phase of the Habitat for Humanity Armenia Catholicos Karekin II Work Project has come and gone. I’m expecting a press release from HFH Armenia later which I’ll add when I receive it. Until then, a few photos of the Catholicos at the event, and of the 38 photos that I took for exhibit on the sidelines. The exhibition should move to the Ani Plaza Hotel tomorrow.

Along with Zarchka from Life Around Me was Nahro Zagros, the Yorkshire Kurd. Trust Nahro to use the opportunity to continue in his research while he was there, albeit this time with Armenian instead of Yezidi music. Zara says he knows every traditional Armenian folk song, and I don’t doubt it.

Anyway, am off to Gavar tomorrow to photograph the Catholicos and the new influx of HFH volunteers at the construction site. More as of when.

  2. I’m told that the exhibition has not moved to the Ani Plaza Hotel. Not sure why. When I know more I’ll post details.
