Hovik, I don't check the moderation queue for this blog so regularly now I'm busy with other work.

Incidentally, your childish comments always make me laugh which why I allow them. You discredit yourself, but it has to be said, you alway put a smile on my face, crooked teeth or not. ;-)

Anyway, 300? Nah, and how on earth would you know anyway? Anyway, it's interesting to note that both pro-government and pro-opposition supporters attempt to mislead.

The first camp pushes lower numbers for rallies. The second, higher.

I'm trying to post details of what the situation really was like.

I havent met Gegham manoukian but I heard that people people saying that he is a pleasant personality. I think he managed to create a good image but there is more than that good image. I dont know much about the Dro or any Dashnak case some were aquited but some are sill rotting in prisons therefore the case is controversial. But I listen Yerkir Media news and man they like distorting the news. Gegham Manoukian seems to be a khlez (ÖÑyÅ) a crowling creature.
At the end of the day Dashnaktsutyun is a fascistc organisation with ideas like turning Istanbul into bloodbath etc.

Hi, dear Onnig,
By the way, you can read about the character of your "respected" acquaintance, Serzh Sarkissian's "khnami", however ironically dashnak Gegham Manoukian in yesterday's (22.02.07) issue of "Haykakan Zhamanak".

In reference to Comment #6, the quote erased by the moderator had referenced to the mainstream idea of Nikol Pashinian's speech at "Marriot-Armenia". Nobody could have claimed that Nikol pretended that salvalion of the Republic of Armenia depended upon his own self.

Haik, not 2-3,000 people. Really. I've been to so many demos in Armenia and have learned well that the opposition press inflate their figures and the government press reduce them.

The people I trust to be objective say about 1,000. I estimate 1-1,500 only because it looked half as many as the Hrant Dink event which attracted 3,000, but was way more than this one.

Still, your point about it picking up accepted. Let's face it. We've still 3 months to go before the election.

Nikol Pashinian was unfarly quoted above. he didnt say that the salvation of Armenian depends on him ; i.e. Nikol Pashinian. His point was that it depends to every and each individual.
He said: ...let every person here , at this moment repeat to him/her own self and repeat many times the following formula :“The salvation of Armenia depends upon one person, and that person is myself”
.

Azg reported that there were 2 to 3000 people. I guess the day and time were not right. The upcoming one on 2nd of March might bring more people but the venue is not good. It is at Matenadaran. where the speakers are far from the people causing a gap.
I hope this movement picks up as it seems to be the only healthy and sincere one with a clear program out there.
