A1 Plus Blog

Via Armenian Blog Review, news that A1 Plus has started up its own blog in time for the 12 May parliamentary election. Incidentally, it’s in Armenian and was created by Observer.

Looks like there was an aborted attempt to run it off Wordpress.com as well. Personally, I prefer the implementation of Wordpress on Blogsome so I’m happy to see them use that hosting provider.

Not sure why they didn’t install Wordpress on their own server, however. Perhaps because it’s mirrored?

  1. I’ve been away for a while and I noticed that the CRD/TI blog has disapeared. What happened?

  2. Yes, that is being away for quite a while. Anyway, for a number of reasons I resigned from the project, but rather than continue on the project or even keep what was there and linked to from various sites online, they deleted it the day after my notice of termination ended. Even though I said I’d recruit a replacement, they didn’t. There’s more to it than this, but for now I don’t have time with two new deadlines for EurasiaNet to meet by today, although it’s now looking more like tomorrow.

  3. UPDATE: Panorama.am have also started a blog: http://elections.blog.com (I’ve made a nice banner for it too)

  4. sorry to hear that, Onnik. Though we anarhists view elections and voting within this pseudo-democratic framework with suspicion, I should also nothe that I was reading it frequently, because it was quite analytical and incieful. It’s a pity they didn’t even keep the already written texts.
