Driving is treacherous all along Gomidas Avenue from the top of Gassian to the "Lambada" bridge near "Raikom." Only two weeks ago did City Hall's municipal workers finally get around to tearing up the streets near the Gomidas Marketplace primarily to extract the iron tram rails (supposedly in a fury to sell them for construction projects) and to replace water pipes. At least Friendship Square (a.k.a., Paregamutiun), arguably the busiest intersection in the entire city perhaps second to the Khanjian/Tigran Mets crossroads, was just recently repaired apparently within only one week.
